Bolton Wanderers are interested in signing Peterborough United striker Jonson Clarke-Harris.
According to Darren Witcoop, Bolton are ‘watching developments’ on Clarke-Harris, who is also reportedly of interest to former club Bristol Rovers, whom he joined Peterborough from in the summer of 2020.
Clarke-Harris’ contract expires in June 2024. It is said that Bolton are keeping an eye on his situation in case striker Dion Charles leaves, with Stoke said to be one of the clubs interested in the Northern Ireland international.
Clarke-Harris is one of the many players that were transfer listed by Posh in the summer after the club wanted to make sure they can make as much money as they can, with a lot of their squad entering the final year of their contract.
Jonson Clarke-Harris would be a great signing

The Jamaica international has been one of the most prolific strikers at League One level for a number of years now, and at the age of 29 he doesn’t look to be slowing down.
He has already scored two goals in the opening five games of this League One season, and has hit a minimum of 13 goals in his last four seasons at this level.
He was League One’s top goal scorer last season with 27 goals, and was also top scorer in 20/21 as Peterborough were promoted to the Championship, scoring 31 goals.
He has also spent time in his career at Rotherham, Oldham, MK Dons, Doncaster and Coventry
If Charles were to leave Bolton, Clarke-Harris would be a brilliant replacement. Proven at this level and plenty of years left in his career to be good in League One, and also has shown in the past his ability at Championship level, scoring 12 in the 21/22 season.
