Bolton have received bids from two Premier League clubs for their up and coming youth talent, Luca Connell, according to the Bolton News.
The clubs in question are reported to be Brighton and Southampton.
However, it has been confirmed that Brighton’s interest in the Wanderers youngster has faded.
It’s surprising to see Connell, who has two starts to his name, get interest from Premier League clubs.

Connell burst onto the scene in last week’s FA cup defeat at Bristol. His performance in the cup tie earned him his first league start for Bolton.
MORE BOLTON STORIES
Against Reading on Tuesday, the 17-year-old shone once again before being substituted off earlier than he deserved.
You’d like to think Phil Parkinson is doing everything he can to keep the midfield talent at the club.

However, given the financial hole Bolton find themselves in once again, many fear that Connell could be sold to help keep the club afloat, despite his talent.
It would be a shame to see a player, who has been at Bolton since he was 8-years-old, be sold after playing just a handful of games..
It’s a similar story to Rob Holding’s breakout year at Bolton. After a brief stint in the Wanderers side, he was snapped up by Arsenal.

We’ll have to wait and see how the rest of Deadline Day develops. But hopefully we can be bringing players in rather than letting any go.
Saying that, it does seem very quiet in the incoming transfers front so far today.
