Bolton manager Ian Evatt confirmed that both Declan John and Kieran Sadlier are free to leave the club.
Speaking to The Bolton News, he said: “There’s no point me sitting here and saying they are not available for transfer, they absolutely are, but again it is their decision. We are not going to force anyone out of the door.
“At the moment we have not selected them so it is their choice whether they decide to move on. You have seen the really good squad of players we have, the bench we have, so they can read into that what they will.
Sadlier joined Bolton in January 2022 from Rotherham but has fallen out of favour in the last year, spending the second half of last season on loan at Leyton Orient, helping them win League Two.
John meanwhile has been at Bolton permanently since the summer of 2021, joining after a loan spell with the club the season prior. Both players’ contracts expire at the end of the season.
“The facts are we are not the type of club to mistreat someone or to force people out, it is always going to be their decision to stay. If they do, they will have to get their heads down to get into my thoughts and selection.”
Ian Evatt only looking to add a goalkeeper

Due to Joel Coleman’s injury during their Carabao Cup defeat to Middlesbrough on Tuesday evening, Evatt has said that area of the field is the only place that are looking to strengthen before the window closes.
“Things change in football really fast – and I never say never – but at the moment we are looking at the goalkeeping department, that might be the only thing we want to strengthen in terms of incomings but there might be outgoings.”
